We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Support and Resettlement Assistants. We have 2 x Permanent Full Time (37 hour) posts available within the service.
As a Support and Resettlement Assistant, you will be responsible for providing practical housing and tenancy related support to individuals and households residing in various types of interim accommodation. This also includes tasks linked to ensuring a safe living environment is maintained in accommodation provided. Your daily routine will be varied depending on the placement and support needs of households residing in accommodation.
The role involves regular travel across the Borough of Neath Port Talbot, and further afield to different Local Authority areas. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a tenancy support setting, advice service or social care role, and a working knowledge of the various issues and problems encountered by homeless households, including an understanding of how to support individuals and families to overcome these issues and access support.
