We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Environment and Regeneration Directorate as a Senior Assistant Engineer. This permanent position is based within the Engineering Team at The Quays, Baglan Energy Park. As a Senior Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our community.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Management of the coal tips
- Providing technical services to both internal and external clients
- Supporting the team in specialist areas
- Overseeing the implementation of engineering schemes from design through to completion
Key duties include:
- Preparing and reviewing contract documents
- Supervising construction and maintenance projects
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards
- Managing project budgets
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical and managerial systems within the team
