We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Environment and Regeneration Directorate as a Senior Assistant Engineer. This permanent position is based within the Engineering Team at The Quays, Baglan Energy Park. As a Senior Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our community.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Management of the coal tips
  • Providing technical services to both internal and external clients
  • Supporting the team in specialist areas
  • Overseeing the implementation of engineering schemes from design through to completion

Key duties include:

  • Preparing and reviewing contract documents
  • Supervising construction and maintenance projects
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards
  • Managing project budgets
  • Liaising with stakeholders
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical and managerial systems within the team
