What You will Do

  • Respond to fostering enquiries and carry out initial home visits
  • Complete mainstream fostering assessments and Connected Carer assessments
  • Support Connected Carers and contribute to Friends and Family Placements
  • Work flexibly with a blend of home working, office meetings, and community visits

What We are Looking For

  • At least two years post-qualifying experience in social work
  • Experience in child care court proceedings and assessing foster carers
  • Strong knowledge of trauma and therapeutic approaches
  • Recognised Social Work Qualification (Degree/Diploma or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Care Council for Wales
