Working Style: Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. If you have a passion for customer service and want to work for a reputable organisation, then read on. We provide a multi-channel, first point of contact service for a variety of external and internal customers, responding to queries through reception services, telephone, e-mail and web-based enquiries.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will have proven ability in customer service, who can remain calm under pressure, and who thrives in a demanding and challenging environment. Your daily routine will cover a variety of locations, providing face to face, telephone and administration duties.
About you:
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Ability to deal competently and diplomatically with external and internal customers, sometimes in difficult situations.
- A flexible attitude toward change, proactively responding to the demand of customers and the organisation.
Ideally you will have:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, one of which must be English or Welsh, plus mathematics, or a qualification of a comparable level, e.g. Intermediate GNVQ Level 2, BTEC First Certificate, or have relevant experience to evidence in place of these.
