We are seeking an enthusiastic and community minded Participant Engagement & Support officer to join our Communities for Work Plus team. In this varied and rewarding role, you\’ll work alongside a dedicated team to support individuals from all backgrounds to help develop skills, access training and connect with new opportunities, and take meaningful steps towards secure, long term employment. You\’ll also build strong links with businesses and community organisations, organise engagement activities, and support projects that tackle poverty and promote inclusion – empowering people to take confident steps towards lasting employment.
What you\’ll do
- Organise and deliver engagement activities that bring communities together and support employability.
- Work directly with local people to ensure their voices are heard and their skills are developed.
- Build relationships with local businesses to promote job opportunities for participants.
- Produce clear monitoring and progress reports to show the impact of your work.
- Champion equality, diversity, wellbeing, and sustainability in everything you do.
What we\’re looking for
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working with communities, voluntary groups, or employment programmes.
- Confidence in building partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.

About you:
Ideally you will have:
- 4 GCSE\’s grades C or above, or a qualification of a comparable level (eg. Intermediate GNVQ Level 2, BTEC First Certificate, NVQ Level 2).
