Location of post: Neath Civic Centre / Hybrid Working

Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.

About the role: You will have a strong desire to support the Local Authority's objectives in ensuring it meets its duties under Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act and importantly, to enable people in our community to live safely, free from abuse and neglect. You will be adept at assessing risk and thinking outside of the box to mitigate risks and be skilled in the application of the Mental Capacity Act. Your decisions will be well reasoned, defensible and recorded and you will know when to seek support.

Our work is with people experiencing complex situations, and you will be adept at building partnerships within our organisation as well as with partner agencies. Possessing professional competence and confidence, you will be able to hold our organisation and others to account.
