About the Role
An exciting opportunity at Neath Port Talbot Council for a permanent Environmental Health Officer within our Food and Health Protection service. We are a small, motivated team focusing on health protection, communicable disease, and food safety.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a sound knowledge of best practices and legislation, and will undertake duties in accordance with legislative requirements and Council policies. You must be an Environmental Health Officer with a Certificate of Registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board or equivalent. We also consider applications for Career grade (Grade 6/7) if you are studying to become an Environmental Health Officer. You should demonstrate experience meeting the relevant qualification and competency requirements as per the person specification.
