Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is proactively planning its workforce for the future, with a view to supporting the council's activities. As part of this process, we intend to invest in the long term by appointing a Solicitor/Barrister for Education and Litigation. We need a qualified Solicitor/Barrister to handle a varied and challenging caseload related to the council's education functions and to assist with the general mainstream functions of the Litigation Division of Legal and Democratic Services.
The role will provide you with the opportunity to advise on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, and to undertake advocacy work. You will work in a friendly and supportive team environment where your professional development will be supported and valued.
