The Governing Body of Ynysfach Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The post is temporary in the first instance, and will be until 20th July 2026, or a staffing review, whichever is sooner. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range.
You will need enthusiasm and commitment to working with young people. Experience of this kind of role, or of working in a primary school setting will be an advantage but is not essential. You will need to be adaptable and flexible and enjoy a challenge.
The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:
- Enthusiasm and self motivation
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Good people skills with adults and children
- The ability to work as part of a team
