We are currently seeking a School and Community Support Worker to join our team as part of our response to support children, young people, and families impacted by the recent Tata and supply chain job losses. The successful candidate will work directly with children, young people, and families to help maintain engagement in education, wellbeing, and community life. The role will involve holding a caseload, planning, facilitating, monitoring, developing and evaluating a range of interventions in a strengths-based, person-centred approach. This post will work in partnership with schools, educational professionals, community organisations, and other agencies to provide a joined-up response that promotes resilience and positive outcomes for children and their families. The successful candidate will be based in all schools within the Ysgol Cwm Brombil cluster for a portion of time.
