Central Walker Church of England Primary School is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Effectively supervise and educate whole classes across Key Stages 1 and 2 during the short‑term absence of teachers.
  • Understand how young people learn, including awareness of the National Curriculum, effective teaching principles, and assessment strategies.
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons clearly and enthusiastically, ensuring pupils understand the tasks set.
  • Employ effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Work well as part of a team, committed to the wellbeing and care of all children.

Working Hours:

Term‑time only plus five training days, working 34.5 hours per week:

  • Monday 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Wednesday 8.30 am – 3.45 pm
  • Friday 8.30 am – 3.15 pm
