The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will step into a leadership role within a compact, high-performing IT function. You’ll own core infrastructure, deliver enterprise-level projects, and mentor junior colleagues—all while helping steer the team towards proactive, root-cause-led operations. Expect variety, autonomy, and real influence in shaping modern, secure, and scalable systems.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will:
- Lead infrastructure operations across Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Nutanix, and Windows Server
- Own project delivery from design to implementation, aligned to strategic IT goals
- Act as the senior point for 2nd/3rd line support and major incident resolution
- Drive compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and GDPR
- Embed ITIL practices and improve documentation, process, and automation
You will need:
- 5+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering, ideally in enterprise/multi-site setups
- Expert knowledge across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Nutanix or VMware, Veeam, and core networking
- Strong communication and mentoring skills with a proactive mindset
- Proven ability to lead projects and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- A structured, analytical approach to incident management and service improvement
