We are partnering with a fast-scaling, venture-backed (£20M+ Series A) B2B cybersecurity SaaS company that is doubling its headcount from 45 to 90 over the next 12 months. They are building a brand-new marketing engine and need a high-potential, autonomous hybrid to lead their web presence.
This is not a traditional developer role where you wait to be briefed. You will sit squarely within the marketing team, taking full ownership of the website, including all development work and managing it from a marketing performance perspective.
The Role
- End-to-End Website Ownership: Take complete accountability for all frontend development, web architecture, and daily management of the commercial site.
- Commercial Strategy: Partner directly with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing to build and optimize custom pages that convert traffic into leads.
- Tech Stack & Tracking: Build bespoke component-based experiences in a modern CMS (Storyblok) and own the data flows, ensuring seamless tracking integration with HubSpot.
- Technical SEO & Performance: Optimize the site's backend for loading speeds, traditional search, and AI/LLM discovery engines.
- Design Oversight: You do not need to execute hands‑on graphic design work. However, you must have an excellent eye for design to structure briefs and manage assets from freelancers or agencies.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–10 Years Experience: You’ve owned a B2B SaaS website before!
- B2B SaaS / PLG Background: Mandatory experience working in‑house at a B2B SaaS business with a digital or Product‑Led Growth (PLG) motion.
- The Hybrid Baseline: You are a developer who understands how websites generate revenue. You can confidently point to a site and say, 'I designed the logic, built the code, and managed this end-to-end.'
- Technical Baseline: Competent writing production code and navigating tracking architectures, with hands‑on experience utilizing skills such as TypeScript, Angular, React, CSS, Python, and AWS.
