I’m working with a financial services firm within the analytics area as they go through a period of exciting digital transformation on their key data-driven product. As they are expanding in this area, they are looking for a Senior Front End Developer to join this new team and spearhead development within the digital platform. Being one of the first two engineers on the team, you’ll have significant autonomy to make the role your own and work on a genuinely greenfield business area. This role would really suit someone from a data-driven financial services / banking platform. Someone tenured enough to bring in experience of digital transformation and know the more delicate intricacies of the fintech industry, as well as someone able to build dashboards, work in a tight knit, highly autonomous team. Strong experience with dashboarding and embedding AI-assisted coding tools are needed for this position.
The Day-to-day:
- Designing and building a new front end platform – dashboards, data visualisation
- Working on designing and crafting the initial product and product architecture
- Working closely with the backend engineer to ensure backend APIs and front end systems integrate seamlessly
- Embed AI / Agentic coding into workflows
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard, bearing in mind: scalability, security, and testing
Key skills needed:
- Overall Senior experience from a data-heavy background (ideally 8+ years)
- Strong Fintech / Banking / Financial services experience
- Entrepreneurial / Leadership-driven mindset (make the role your own)
- AI assisted workflows – Cursor / Gemini / Claude and the experience to know the guardrails needed to ensure reliable output
Annual Bonus
2-3 days a week from central London hybrid working
