The Vice President of Engineering will lead engineering delivery across roadmap execution, operational health, and cross-functional coordination. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can turn commercial priorities into clear, achievable engineering plans while helping shape the future direction of a complex platform.
Role HighlightsThe Vice President of Engineering will:
- Own delivery across engineering roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and release planning
- Translate product and commercial priorities into clear, realistic engineering plans
- Build meaningful delivery, quality, incident, and operational health metrics
- Coordinate the evaluation and sequencing of future platform evolution
- Act as a senior deputy to the CTO, with a defined leadership progression path
The role requires:
- Proven engineering leadership experience within a scaling digital, subscription, or commerce business
- Strong delivery management skills across distributed engineering teams and complex priorities
- A practical understanding of modern software architecture, platforms, and operational resilience
- Hands-on experience adopting AI-assisted and agentic development practices
- The judgement to work through ambiguity, challenge constructively, and maintain delivery momentum
