The role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy predictive analytics and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value. This role combines hands-on data science, data engineering, and model deployment, working across the full lifecycle from data acquisition and preparation through to production implementation and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience building predictive models, working with large datasets, and delivering scalable, production-ready solutions. Exposure to modern AI technologies, including LLMs, is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy predictive and machine learning models.
  • Analyse complex datasets to generate insights and support business decision-making.
  • Develop pricing, forecasting, and predictive analytics models to support commercial optimisation and revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and data preparation processes.
  • Work across multiple data sources to create reliable datasets for analytics and modelling.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and monitor models in production.
  • Contribute to data science best practices, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the growth of internal data science capabilities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant commercial experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
  • Strong Python skills with experience using pandas, NumPy, Jupyter, and related tools.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying predictive models in production environments.
  • Experience with pricing, forecasting, revenue optimisation, risk modelling, or similar predictive analytics use cases is highly desirable.
  • Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and working with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of SQL and modern database technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, CI/CD, and containerisation technologies.
  • Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI, or Natural Language Processing is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
