Backed by strong investment and growing customer traction, our client is entering a critical stage of technical evolution. This hire will play a central role in strengthening the platform, refining engineering standards and preparing the technology for its next phase of scale.

The Engineering Lead will take ownership of architecture and technical direction while remaining deeply involved in hands-on development, infrastructure decisions and release quality.

Role Highlights – The Engineering Lead will:
  • Lead, mentor and develop a 6-person onshore/offshore engineering team
  • Architect and enhance scalable, secure cloud-native systems
  • Contribute directly to full-stack development across TypeScript, JavaScript and React
  • Improve delivery standards across CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automated testing
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Product function to align technical delivery with commercial priorities
You Will Need – The Engineering Lead will bring:
  • 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, including technical leadership responsibility
  • Strong hands-on backend development experience within AWS-based environments
  • Practical expertise with Docker, API-led architectures and modern data stores such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
  • Experience leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams
  • Advanced capability in system architecture, scalability planning and performance optimisation
