The Business Operations Lead will play a critical role on a team that is core to Blockchain.com’s global operating effectiveness. You will operate in a highly cross-function context, working directly with nearly every team and function in the company. You will have a unique opportunity to positively influence the entire organization and drive initiatives that directly impact the company’s bottom line. You will work closely with Blockchain.com staff across levels of seniority, helping drive the company’s business lines forward.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Report to the SVP, Business Operations, and establish strong relationships across functions and management levels to work collaboratively and independently.
- Drive relationships with regional financial institution partners, including domestic and international banks, by owning partnership and refresh processes.
- Work with executive management, product, finance, compliance, and legal teams to execute initiatives that drive efficiency.
- Execute cross-functional projects ensuring the seamless integration of regional and local operations requirements with global shared services functions.
- Assist with execution on regulatory and licensing initiatives globally.
- Assist with the expansion of regulated services entities and operations.
- Provide project management support to business owners to scale new products from MVP.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of operational best practices across regions, and develop the corporate resources, processes, and standards to implement them across operating theaters.
- Support cross-functional project management of corporate and business development opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Interest in and familiarity with both cryptocurrency and traditional financial industries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
- Strong contextualization and second-order thinking ability.
- Experience and proven track record in business process management consulting or operations roles in the financial services or technology industries.
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule to coordinate with global stakeholders.
- Creativity, adaptability, tenacity, a sense of urgency and hands-on, roll-up your sleeves work ethic.
- Excellent organizational and workload management skills, especially with respect to verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to deconstruct convoluted problems and develop precise plans of action.
NICE TO HAVE
- 3+ years experience in a top management consulting or advisory services firm.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, six sigma and/or business process management concepts.
- Advanced user of Excel and Powerpoint with a good familiarity of G-Suite equivalents.
- Intermediate or greater SQL proficiency a major plus.
