Do you approach procurement with a curious and inquisitive nature? In this pivotal role, you will be a natural at building strong supplier relationships to keep everything running smoothly, helping support our growth trajectory. You will always be looking for smarter ways to source and manage materials, proactive in your approach and not afraid to push back when needed.
Customer focused with supplier, print/packaging and inventory management experience, you will have a project management mindset, as you take the lead in controlling the spend within finished goods components, labels, secondary packaging and sub-con suppliers. As you lead day-to-day procurement activities, you will ensure timely and accurate supply of raw materials and packaging components, aligned with production schedules and safety stock levels.
You will take ownership of procurement processes, adopt a strategic approach, and work closely with NPD on packaging projects to embed procurement into development stages. As an effective communicator, you will have gravitas as you work closely with suppliers, Purchasing Coordinators, and internal teams including Quality, Production, and Finance to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What you will have:
- Strong experience in operational procurement within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Print/packaging buying experience highly beneficial
- Proven ability to manage and supervise team members effectively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving
- Strategic thinker with a project manager mindset
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Qualified or working towards CIPS certification
- Proficient in MRP systems; NetSuite experience desirable
- Advanced Excel and strong general IT skills
