About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our team at Neale-Wade Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, care, and availability of the building, furniture, fittings, and equipment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the building and contents are secured, with access provided to authorised personnel as required.
  • Monitor and maintain the physical condition of the building, furniture, and equipment, carrying out repairs within the scope of a competent handyman.
  • Operate heating, lighting, and other systems, promoting energy conservation and monitoring usage.
  • Carry out porterage duties, including setting up furniture and equipment for activities without direct instruction.
