With over 100 years of experience, this privately owned and professionally managed business offers fit-for-purpose export packing solutions, consolidation, warehousing, inspection and quality check of packing level worldwide.
We are really busy and have been for some time, and due to continuous growth we are now looking for Export Packers / Casemakers at our sites in Meltham, West Yorkshire and Penistone, South Yorkshire. However large we grow, we still remain a friendly and pleasant place to work.
We specialise in the manufacture of bespoke timber packing cases, made to customers' requirements, for high value plant and machinery. Our team are excellent and are happy to share their vast expertise and train you in the skills that you will need for your future career. Do not worry if you don’t have industrial packing experience; we can offer training for suitable applicants who are enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills, comfortable with using power tools and machinery, and have a mature attitude.
On top of your basic weekly hours, we often have lots of overtime available at enhanced rates, and can offer a career with a solid family company who operate worldwide.
The Role: You will be involved in a multitude of different tasks which primarily involve the manufacture of timber packing cases and export packing of high value plant and machinery for worldwide distribution.
Export Packer - Candidate Personal Attributes: You will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Self-motivated with a flexible and positive approach, dependable and accurate.

- Can communicate well with a good level of numeracy and literacy.

Experience & Training: Experience within the packing sector is desirable, but it’s not essential, as we can provide training for suitable applicants.
