New Entertainment is looking for a Product Owner for our quickly developing Sportsbook platform. Having built a solid industry reputation building and maintaining lightweight front end solutions for international gaming brands and free to play and pay to play gaming products, New Entertainment Group has added to our range of services by producing a sportsbook platform for international partners, built with speed and stability in mind. We are looking for a product owner to build on what has already been developed and to define the delivery roadmap going forward.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of sportsbook product management experience and understand what is required of a gaming platform to be comparable to market expectations as well as having the foresight to develop a product that surpasses this. They will also have a thorough understanding of trading tools and modular requirements needed to successfully facilitate sportsbook brands and their growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, shape and drive the execution of our sportsbook platforms delivery roadmap.
  • Collaborate with dev, commercial and primary stakeholders to ensure that there is a well understood roadmap to success.
  • Be accountable to our partners for the platform's functions including back offices and front-end UI.
  • Continually seek to improve the architecture of the platform by instilling scalable and robust enhancements for efficient load and performance handling.
  • To continually be a driver for improvement in the sportsbook's product development process and delivery.
  • Oversee the delivery of our sportsbook strategy through roadmap management, backlog creation and effective project management.
  • To measure and analyze product metrics, operator, and player's needs, and carve business opportunities to shape our product portfolio with new feature set and improve user experience.
  • Utilize or create a thorough understanding of the different requirements of international sportsbook brands, and to factor this into the development of the platform, subject to our brand partners requirements.
  • Manage any feed integrations and 3rd party sportsbook content to enhance our product offering.
  • Manage live issues and instruct on resolution prioritization.
  • Liaise with internal and external development teams to clarify development requirements.
  • Develop and apply actions that promote strong customer focus. Act with the customer in mind and continually look for innovations and improvements to the customer experience.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 3+ years sportsbook experience with Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analyst or similar in a platform or operator capacity.
  • Proven ability for roadmap creation and delivery success.
  • Experience of working on feed integrations and 3rd party sportsbook content.
  • Excellent project management skills, demonstrated through an ability to work to deadlines through excellent time management, prioritization & communication.
  • A passion for sports betting.
  • Ability to liaise with distributed teams from different disciplines to deliver product milestones on time.
  • Experience or knowledge of different challenges posed by offering a sportsbook in multiple continents preferred.
