NE European Recruitment are looking for Line Operators and Warehouse Operators to work for a Food Production Factory based in Middlesbrough.
Main duties include working on the production line, packing, labelling, working in the warehouse, picking, and dispatch.
Shift: any 5 days a week (your shift may cover the weekend and bank holidays) on rota. Morning start (any time between 6am and 10.30am, most likely 7am). There is no fixed finish time (due to the nature of fresh products all orders need to be completed the same day), you may expect to work on average 9 hours a day, around 45 hours a week. This is a temp to perm, full-time role. No part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures for food safety and quality control, including HACCP guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of food products, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered during operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and product measurements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and inventory tracking.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by the production schedule.
