Enjoying the success of exponential growth, and with an ambitious and realistic expansion plan already in action, Morgan Ward NDT Ltd is searching for a Trainee NDT Technician to join its experienced and ever-expanding team in Stansted, Essex. You’ll undertake training in multiple methods within the field of NDT, with a hands-on approach throughout your OJT (on the job training) and active involvement in learning inspection techniques within an MRO environment. You need to have the following experience and skills: * Ideally possess at least one year’s experience of working in a Part 145 organisation, OR * Possess work experience within an aerospace related environment, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in NDT OR * Military personnel ready for resettlement in civilian life * An analytical and methodical style of thinking, with exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of team * Able to follow instructions and work closely with the company’s Level 2’s and Site Manager * Full driver’s licence As well as covering work at the company’s Stansted base, this position also brings exciting opportunities to travel the world, so it’s essential that applicants are willing to work away from home and also work unsociable hours – including nights and weekends – to meet customer needs. Due to EASA requirements, applicants must be age 19 and above to be considered for this position. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing business that is committed to its people and customers, and a company that provides exceptional training to ensure that its staff reach their best potential. The position attracts circa £32kOTE, which includes a basic hourly rate (based on 40 hours p/week), overtime, and a discretionary annual bonus, and you can expect incremental pay increases throughout your training, too.
