We are looking for a motivated and organised Transport Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, manage vehicle operations, and maintain a smooth-running transport function.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating and overseeing transport operations, ensuring accurate deliveries to our customers on time
- Supporting, monitoring and communicating with drivers to keep things running efficiently
- Carrying out and recording vehicle safety and maintenance checks in line with company and legal standards
- Maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external contacts across the supply chain
- Supporting the team out in the yard to ensure they work in partnership with drivers
- Managing health and safety practices to ensure a safe and tidy working environment
- Ensuring branch policies and compliance standards are met
