Drive with pride. Deliver with purpose. Be part of something bigger. At NDI, we believe the best ideas come from the people who work closely with our customers every day. Our teams are our greatest asset, and we’re committed to supporting, developing and empowering them to be their best – today and tomorrow.

We’re looking for a reliable and safety‑focused HGV Driver to join our team at NDI Maidstone. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly – delivering materials to our customers, supporting your branch team and representing our brand out on the road.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You’ll be out and about – making sure deliveries get where they need to be, on time and with a smile.
  • Working closely with your branch team – lending a hand and keeping things moving.
  • Chatting with customers and suppliers – keeping things friendly, clear and professional.
  • You’ll take care of your vehicle and drive safely.
  • You might use HIAB equipment too – if you haven’t done that before, don’t worry, we’ll train you.
  • Helping with loading, unloading and making sure everything’s in the right place.

We’re happy to explore flexible working options. Feel free to chat with us about it during the interview. While we might not be able to meet every request, we’ll always listen with an open mind – and there’s no judgement in asking.

What You’ll Bring:

Let’s be honest – you’re way more than a list of skills on a CV. It’s your drive, your personality, and your fresh perspective that we’re interested in. We’ll make sure you’ve got a valid Class 2 licence. If you are moffett trained, this would be a bonus but not essential!

What’s In It For You:

  • 23 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays (31 days per year).
  • Company bonus scheme, based on performance.
  • Contributory pension and life assurance.
  • Discounts on high street retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and cinemas.
  • Colleague discount across our group brands.
  • Attraction and travel discounts.
  • Training and development programmes to support your growth.

We offer on‑the‑job training and opportunities to work towards recognised qualifications, including apprenticeships. We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost.

We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive workplace, whether you’re based in one of our branches, on the road or in one of our offices. If you need any adjustments to support you through the application or interview process, please let us know.
