Property Surveyor Up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience + Car Allowance & Benefits Barnstaple and surrounding areas Permanent, Full Time About the Role You'll undertake a broad range of inspections including stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments, void inspections, fire risk assessments, asbestos re-inspections, energy assessments and quality audits.

You'll identify building defects, diagnose repairs and oversee work to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.

Youll work closely with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standards.

This is a customer-facing role where your ability to communicate clearly and resolve issues will be key to delivering excellent service.

What Were Looking For HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Building Studies or a trade qualification Minimum 5 years site experience Professional membership of CIOB or RICS, or willingness to work towards this Strong knowledge of building defects, repair specifications, and CDM regulations Experience in managing contractors and delivering projects to budget and timescale Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Devon P402 Asbestos Surveying qualification (or willingness to obtain) The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check.
