General Operative £25,563.96 Permanent, Full Time
You will assist in the delivery of our maintenance programme through the effective and coordinated support of multi-skilled and general operatives in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
Working alongside our team of Multi Skilled Operatives (MSO) in supporting larger work projects or those requiring more than one person.
Assisting on site with general labouring and delivery duties, including manual handling tasks.
Loading and unloading all debris/materials as required by the MSO from or to stores, site or place of disposal.
Assisting in the purchasing of materials or hiring of tools or plant as instructed by the MSO.
You will be looking to work for a supportive company delivering valuable services to the local community.
You will have a basic knowledge of the building industry with experience assisting in one or more of the following areas: brickwork/blockwork, paving, plastering/rendering, roofing, carpentry, fencing, decoration.
