Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Printer role based in Stourbridge.
The Printer will operate and monitor printing equipment to produce high-quality film and packaging products according to specifications and production schedules.
Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, adjusting print settings, loading materials, and performing routine quality checks to ensure accurate color, registration, and finishing.
The role involves basic maintenance and troubleshooting of printer equipment, working closely with production and quality teams, and following safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
The Printer will also support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain consistent output.
Qualifications
- Experience in Print Production and Printing, including operating industrial printers and handling various substrates.
- Skills in Printer Support and basic equipment troubleshooting to maintain uptime and address minor technical issues.
- Familiarity with wide web flexo printing systems and color management for accurate and consistent print quality.
- Attention to detail, strong visual inspection skills, and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, including adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Previous experience in packaging, print manufacturing, or a related industrial environment is advantageous.
