NCT, the National Childbirth Trust, is the UK’s charity for pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. For nearly 70 years, we’ve been alongside women and parents, offering trusted information, practical support and building communities. We’re here for every parent, to help them feel confident, connected and safe.
We are best known for our award-winning antenatal classes, but we also do much more. We campaign on issues that matter to parents, provide infant feeding support, and run thousands of free community events and activities led by our amazing volunteers. We also support families facing challenges like social isolation, feeding difficulties, and poor mental health. We offer support in communities, in hospitals and online. Last year we supported 250,000 parents on their unique journeys through pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, and early parenthood.
Role Purpose
To manage the planning, delivery and optimisation of NCT’s integrated marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are audience-led, well-coordinated and deliver against measurable outcomes including course bookings, partnership value and perception change. The role acts as the central engine for marketing delivery, translating strategy into clear campaign plans, aligning teams and resources, and ensuring activity is executed effectively across channels.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Content Studio, Communications team and external partners, the role oversees marketing campaigns end-to-end, from briefing and planning through to execution, optimisation and reporting. A key part of the role is managing workflow into and through the Content Studio, ensuring high-quality briefs, clear priorities and output is aligned to audience needs, timelines and marketing objectives.
The role also leads the delivery of partnership marketing activity, ensuring agreed corporate/fundraising partnerships are activated effectively and consistently across channels, with clear coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Success in the role depends on strong campaign planning, clear prioritisation and a proactive, solutions-focused approach, underpinned by brand and acquisition marketing knowledge. The Marketing and Growth manager will take ownership of campaign delivery, anticipate challenges and use their initiative to keep marketing activity moving forward in a fast-paced environment. The role is also expected to actively identify opportunities to test, learn and innovate, bringing new ideas, approaches and optimisations that improve campaign performance, audience engagement and overall marketing effectiveness.
