Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier contractual agreements, including SOWs and SLAs, ensuring full compliance.
  • Drive day‑to‑day supplier performance, analyse service level data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Forecast supplier spend, track actuals, resolve discrepancies, and support budget management.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and manage resulting quality actions or improvement plans.
  • Oversee SLA and KPI performance, escalating issues where necessary to maintain service delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve service issues and enhance satisfaction.
  • Develop solutions to complex, cross‑functional issues affecting service performance or delivery.
  • Conduct regular strategic business reviews with suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Establish annual targets, improvement plans, reporting requirements, and business review processes.
  • Financial management: control outside spend, validate supplier charges and recover costs working with client operations, review opportunities to drive out waste and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure out of scope services are approved with the customer before incurring charges from suppliers.
  • Drive to achieve overall outside spend reduction of $0.8m over 5 years.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal departments to support seamless operational cooperation.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing to ensure best practices are adopted across the organisation.
  • Coordinate supplier audits and manage associated costs.
  • Support and facilitate investigations into customer complaints linked to supplier services.
  • Serve as day‑to‑day operational contact for suppliers on all service‑related matters.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of contractual obligations and contribute to contract negotiations.
  • Collate and analyse supplier data for use in performance and contract reviews.
  • Manage supplier delivery issues and oversee escalations through to resolution.
  • Liaise with contract managers regarding supplier cost management.
  • Monitor transactions against supplier contracts to identify compliance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports and insights to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of supplier management, contract governance, and service delivery frameworks.
  • Proven experience in analysing performance data and managing SLAs and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, both remotely and in person.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience in auditing, budget tracking, and operational cost management.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Working Requirements

  • Daily proactive communication with customers and suppliers via video meetings.
  • In‑person presence with suppliers and customers at least twice per week.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally within a fast‑paced operational environment.
