Role Overview: The HRBP Manager acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. This role involves talent management, workforce planning, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. The HRBP Manager will work closely with leadership to foster a positive work culture, resolve complex employee issues, and implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance in a technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders from a technical background to understand organizational objectives and design HR strategies to support them. Provide insights on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters. Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and ethical standards. Develop proactive HR programs to promote a positive and inclusive work environment. Partner with legal and compliance teams on sensitive cases and risk mitigation.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance review cycles, ensuring fairness and alignment with business goals. Coach managers on handling performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
  • Talent Management & Development: Support leadership in identifying high-potential employees and creating development plans. Facilitate training programs on leadership, communication, and compliance.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and cultural transformation. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth transitions during change processes.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use HR metrics and analytics to provide insights on attrition, engagement, and workforce trends. Prepare reports for leadership on HR cases, compliance, and HR initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and employee relations best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in HR data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Workday, SAP, etc.) and MS Office tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 9 - 13 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 - 5 years in an HRBP role at a tech company.
  • Proven experience in handling complex HR cases and partnering with leadership.
  • Fluent in English.
