About the Role: We’re hiring a Team Leader for our ATM installation projects, based out of our Rotherham Depot with travel across the UK. You’ll lead a two-person crew, working alongside electricians and specialist contractors to deliver and install ATMs, signage, and carry out minor building works. The role requires strong construction skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage site logistics and documentation efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a two-person team or work independently, with regular travel and overnight stays (up to one week).
- Supervise a labourer when working as a team, carrying out general build and shop-fitting tasks to prepare sites for ATM installations.
- Complete site works according to weekly schedules to meet ATM delivery and installation deadlines.
- Collaborate with electricians and specialist sub-contractors (e.g. glaziers, shutter engineers).
- Report on-site issues to Build Supervisors and assist in resolving them.
- Act as the main site contact, liaising with site representatives, Build Supervisors, and the Installation Coordination Team.
- Ensure a safe working environment, following site-specific and general Health & Safety guidelines, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Accept ATM deliveries and manoeuvre units into position.
- Install ATM plinths, enclosures, and ATMs according to set-out drawings and service clearances.
- Accurately complete site sign-off documents and take completion photos using a mobile tablet.
What Will I Need to Succeed as a Builder?
- Health & Safety – CSCS Card Holder & UKPIA-SPA Petrol Forecourt. If you don’t have them, we provide fully paid training.
- Skilled in using standard 110V and battery-powered tools (e.g. drills, jigsaws, grinders).
- Relevant training (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds) with proven expertise in a core building trade and broad experience across general construction tasks such as dry-lining, groundworks, glazing systems, and door installations.
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean).
- Good manual handling skills – experience using hydraulic pallet trucks beneficial.
- Confident and proactive, capable of supervising a team and resolving on-site issues effectively.
