- Job Title: Field Service Technician
- Location: Derby or Nottingham – Field Work
- Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 42.5 per week across 5days with weekend work on rota basis
About The Role
In this role, you will carry out on-site ATM repairs and maintenance, as well as provide guarding support during cash removals, ensuring the safety of personnel, cash assets, and equipment at all times.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on-site
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region
- Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements
- Carry out work with adherence to the Health & Safety Policy
- Comply with NCR Atleos Security Policy, and all current security protocols
- Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods
- Full training and equipment provided. Company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply)
Key Qualifications
- Valid Full UK manual driving license
- Hold a valid SIA CViT license or be willing to undertake training (paid by the company)
- Strong local geographical knowledge
- Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair
- Basic computer hardware and software knowledge
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance
- High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
- PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications (not Essential)
- NCR/Wincor ATMs experience
- Previous Field Based experience
- Previous Engineering experience

- 42.5-hour contract with weekend work on rota basis; 5 days over 7 (8.5 hours + 30 minutes brake)
