We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and tenacious individual educated to degree level in Engineering or a related field, or with equivalent work experience in a security-conscious engineering environment. The successful applicant will lead and be part of a highly motivated team striving to improve security solutions across a range of products and solutions.
Location: Dundee (Hybrid)
Salary: £64,000 - £80,000 + excellent benefits + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Security Protection: Develop and implement physical security measures to protect cash and other assets within ATMs.
- Card Holder Fraud Prevention: Develop strategies and technologies to prevent cardholder fraud.
- General Anti-Fraud Devices: Innovate and deploy devices to detect and prevent various forms of fraud.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of ATM systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all security measures comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Innovation: Identify Future Fraud and Criminal Trends and assist in the development of technical roadmaps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into product designs.
- Training: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a security-conscious engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of physical security, encryption technologies, and fraud prevention.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ATM security systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ATM security including EN and UL.
- Knowledge of PCI Standards and Encryption Methodologies.
- Knowledge of Bank and Credit Card Schemes.
