What is the role of an ATM Repair Centre Team Leader?

To manage the day-to-day activities of a small team of repair technicians with Rotherham Repair Centre.

What will I do as an ATM Repair Centre Team Leader?

  • To manage a small number of repair centre technicians to ensure the efficient use of time, parts, and resources.
  • To contribute to, and manage the delivery of the required quantity of defined field replaceable units on time, in full to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure parts are repaired to exacting standards with stringent quality control measures.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and test programs to diagnose and assist with troubleshooting.
  • To manage allocated stock holding areas.
  • Ensure all administrative aspects of the role (and technicians under your management) are completed on time.
  • Work closely, and with the guidance of the Production Team Leader in all aspects of the repair centre function.
  • Continuously assist in improving and refining repair processes to deliver improved part-life expectancy.
  • The repair and refurbishment of ATM modules across the NCR ATM estate.
  • Take responsibility for first line maintenance of test equipment, escalating faults in a timely manner as/ when necessary.
  • Reviewing/ approving holiday and sickness absence
  • Performing post sickness return to work interviews as per company policy.
  • Performing internal appraisal process as set out in company policy.
  • Working time will be split approximately 90% hands on repair activity, 10% administration/ team management.

What Will I Need to Succeed as an ATM Repair Technician?

  • PC basic skills. Understanding of BIOS configuration. Understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to follow detailed technical information and procedures correctly.
  • A demonstrable history of good electro-mechanical skills.
  • Ensure all regulatory procedures are followed correctly.
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • A methodical and systematic approach to troubleshooting and resolving faults.
  • Prior knowledge of NCR, Wincor, and Triton ATM types would be useful but not essential.
  • Motivated, a team player and a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prioritisation of own workload, and those within your team whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Potential to lift heavy equipment as and when required.

Shift Pattern

  • 08:00 – 17:00 Monday-Friday.
  • Overtime may be required depending on the needs of the business
