Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility

  • To diagnose faults, make repairs and to replace modules on ATMs, EPOS, Self-Checkouts, PCs, kiosks, and associated peripherals.
  • Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to ensure continuity of customer operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and/or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements.
  • May require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights. May require bending/squatting, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Company vehicle with fuel card provided which can be used for personal use (BIK and usage fee per mile applies).
  • Tools/laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided. Uniform and PPE provided.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Full UK, manual driving license is mandatory.
  • Experience is preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Experience preferred with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience preferred in general PC hardware and software maintenance.
  • Works well with minimal supervision, good problem-solving skills, ability to pick up new skills quickly with the ability to work under pressure.
  • High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-facing relationship skills required.
  • To be flexible with working shifts as you will be required to work early and late shifts including some weekends and rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus.
