Title: Customer Engineer
Location: UK, Virtual
Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility
- To diagnose faults, make repairs and to replace modules on ATMβs, EPOS, Self-Checkouts, PCs, kiosks, and associated peripherals.
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to ensure continuity of customer operations and a high levels of customer satisfaction
- Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements
- May require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights. May require bending/squatting, walking/standing /sitting for prolonged periods
- Company vehicle with fuel card provided which can be used for personal use (BIK and usage fee per mile applies)
- Tools/laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided
- Uniform and PPE provided
Basic Qualifications
- A Full UK, manual driving license is mandatory
- Experience is preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Experience preferred with Windows operating systems
- Experience preferred in general PC hardware and software maintenance
- Works well with minimal supervision, good problem-solving skills, ability to pick up new skills quickly with the ability to work under pressure
- High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills required
- To be flexible with working shifts as you will be required to work early and late shifts including some weekends and rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus
