Job Summary

• Job Title: Cash in Transit Officer
• Location: Bristol, BS5 0DW
• Salary: £34,556.62 per annum
• Joining bonus: £1,000 if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
• Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm (11.25 or 9 hours including paid breaks)

About the Role

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash and valuables between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks. No two shifts are alike: you’ll switch between driving and courier duties and may work solo or with a partner.

Main Responsibilities

• Work alone or with a partner as a driver or courier, depending on duties.
• Service ATM machines by ensuring secure transportation and deployment of cash.
• Follow company processes and complete all associated documentation in line with operational targets.
• Drive and park company vehicles responsibly, complying with the Highway Code, company policy, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to ensure issues or concerns are addressed promptly and to a satisfactory standard.

Key Requirements

• Provide a continuous 10‑year employment and education history (any gaps must be explained).
• Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid CVIT SIA licence desirable; if held, receive £1,000 bonus after probation. If not, available through fully funded training.
• Adhere to the Highway Code at all times.
• Follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
