Quality Engineer

My client based in Rochester is looking for a Quality/Process Engineer.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
2. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and implement effective solutions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tooling solutions.
4. Provide technical support for production teams, ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
5. Document process changes and maintain accurate records of engineering modifications.

Requirements

1. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
3. Ability to generate reports and build works order documents.
4. Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001.
5. Ability to read drawings and understand tolerances.
6. Experience in equipment calibration.
