My Client in Abingdon is looking for a Manual Turner. The job includes producing parts to the right tolerances from the engineering drawings & able to perform turning,boring, trepanning, roughing & finishing operations. Training can be provided for the right candidate. Good understanding of engineering drawings necessary. Mainly working with Stainless Steel,alloys, brass, copper & plastics. You should be self-motivated and enthusiastic and be able to work efficiently alone and as a Team player. Working week 37hrs with occasional over time depending on customer requirements ( Mon- Thurs 8am-4pm & Fri 8am-1pm) Hourly rate to be agreed depending on experience.
