Ncounter is supporting a global technology-driven investment firm in hiring a Technology Integration Specialist to join a highly collaborative team that bridges development, infrastructure, and support. This function ensures trading systems and data services work seamlessly across the front-to-back lifecycle, making it a key link between engineering and operations.
You’ll take ownership of delivering end-to-end technical change - covering integration, migration, and decommissioning projects. Working across multiple environments, you’ll analyse existing systems, troubleshoot issues within Linux-based infrastructures, and automate recurring tasks in Python or Bash. The role requires both strong hands-on technical capability and structured delivery skills, ensuring solutions are implemented cleanly, documented clearly, and communicated effectively to business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and deliver integration, migration, and decommissioning projects across trading systems
- Liaise with developers, infrastructure, and support teams to define project scope and success metrics
- Perform detailed Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, and process monitoring to identify root causes
- Script automation for data handling and analysis in Python or Bash
- Maintain project governance, tracking, and documentation via Confluence and Jira
- Understand end-to-end system dependencies across trading platforms
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and operational efficiency
- 5–12 years’ experience in technical delivery, integration, or production support within financial services
- Solid Linux knowledge with the ability to identify active processes and service dependencies
- Hands-on scripting experience (Python or Bash)
- Proven track record in managing technical delivery and cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of front-to-back trade flow and system architecture
- Exposure to microservices, kdb+/q, or data-intensive systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and structured project tracking
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
