Overview
A DV Cleared ICT Project Planner and Systems Implementation Specialist is sought to work closely with project stakeholders in Defence, to ensure the successful delivery of ICT services. Your expertise will be pivotal in defining, organising, and implementing key project milestones, ensuring that all activities are meticulously planned and executed.
Responsibilities
- Define, organise, and implement key project milestones for ICT services delivery in Defence projects.
- Plan activities meticulously to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including SMEs and external resources, to drive project success.
- Produce project Commitment Cases and Requests for Financial Authority to spend.
Skills and Experience Required
- Developed Vetting (DV Clearance) and ability to work onsite 4-5 days per week in Hampshire
- Demonstrable experience aligning site implementations with business security policies and RMADS, based on SAC advice
- Strong ability to conduct hardware and software tests, utilising SMEs and external resources as required
- Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, including cabling, equipment, hardware, and software
- Proven experience in ICT project planning and systems implementation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience challenging suppliers within defence to ensure plans are realistic, achievable, and value for money
- Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g. SbD, JSP604, JSP440) and security policies
Location and Availability
Hampshire (onsite 4-5 days per week) within the Defence sector.
