Supports software engineering team in designing, developing, and testing simple software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

Works within team to support clients' project objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Actively implement software development principles and collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Adhere to code standards and our development process while improving both coding skill and domain knowledge.
  • Perform careful code reviews, seek help when needed, provide transparent status updates, and participate actively in team meetings.
  • Gradually handle more complex tasks with input from experienced engineers and gaining independence.
  • Demonstrate commitment to system hygiene by writing clean, maintainable code, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Gain a clear understanding of the defined software retirement process and adhere to it when necessary.
  • Seek out mentorship to grow their own experience.
  • Contribute to conversations based on organizational strategy and principles with their teammates when appropriate.
  • Progressively handle more complex work
  • Demonstrated passion in growing technical expertise and understanding within product domain.
  • Leverage AI tools and techniques throughout the software lifecycle to solve complex problems

Requirements
