As our External Account Executive, you’ll own new business growth across your territory, introducing banks and financial institutions to a smarter way of working while deepening our footprint with the customers we already serve
- This is a role for someone who enjoys the full arc of a sale: spotting the opportunity, challenging the status quo, and guiding a complex deal all the way to close.
You’ll work alongside product, professional services, marketing, and customer success colleagues, and you’ll have real influence over how n Cino’s brand shows up across your market
- There’s plenty of room to grow here too, whether that’s expanding into new segments, taking on larger accounts, or building your expertise across an evolving product suite
- Identify and engage prospective customers across your territory and market segment
- Bring a fresh perspective to prospective customers, challenging them to think differently about their technology
- Qualify and progress opportunities, keeping a healthy pipeline to meet quarterly and annual targets
- Build n Cino’s brand presence and reputation across your territory.
Take a consultative approach, using your knowledge of the n Cino solution and the Salesforce platform to solve real client problems
- Navigate complex sales cycles: mapping decision‑making processes, negotiating contracts, and closing business
- Identify key stakeholders within prospective accounts and build consensus among them
- Partner closely with inside sales and marketing colleagues to keep messaging consistent
- Grow existing accounts by maintaining strong client relationships and partnering with Customer Success on adoption
- Introduce new n Cino products and offerings to existing customers

Qualifications
- A strong track record in sales, with the ability to point to consistent results
- A collaborative working style, comfortable partnering with colleagues across product, sales, professional services, support, and finance
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate software solutions both onsite and virtually
- A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
- The confidence to challenge executive decision‑makers and build consensus among client leadership, including at C‑suite level
- Willingness to travel to client locations across the UK and EMEA as needed
- A postgraduate degree or relevant certifications
- Banking or commercial banking domain expertise
- A flexible, resourceful approach to problem‑solving in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organisational skills, balancing high performance with process discipline
