NCIMB Ltd is seeking a motivated Scientist to join our busy Molecular & Environmental Services team.

The successful candidate will hold a degree (BSc or equivalent) in Molecular Microbiology or another relevant scientific discipline. Previous laboratory experience in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Aseptic laboratory techniques

  • DNA extraction and purification
  • \n
  • PCR and qPCR methodologies
  • \n
  • DNA sequencing technologies
  • \n
  • Working within ISO 9001, GMP or other regulated quality environments (preferred but not essential).
