We are seeking a motivated registered Nurse to join our team.
We are a 28 bedded medical ward caring for patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions.
Were looking for someone who is highly committed to best practice and be able to work with in a team environment, and have outstanding communication skills.

Main duties of the job
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. Contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice in the unit.
Support Patients, and their families, during their diagnosis and treatment
Liaise with other departments both at WCH and CIC to ensure the safe transfer of the Patients.
The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse adult with active NMC registration or working towards
- ILS or Equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
- Student nurse or general nursing within the NHS or equivalent.
- Coronary Care experience.
- Teaching /supporting students experience.
- NIV experience.
Skills and Aptitudes
- Ability to work as a member of a team, without close supervision.
- Ability to demonstrate the compassionate values and behaviours needed for dignified care.
- Teaching skills.
- Able to adapt to changing workload and work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to act as a mentor to Students and HCAs.
