Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing leadership and technical direction for all IT‑related activities.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure.
• Overseeing system administration, network operations, and cybersecurity measures; ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity regulations.
• Managing IT budget and resources, and providing expert guidance on emerging technologies.
• Leading and mentoring IT contracted personnel, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
• Leading the planning, execution, and oversight of IT services across multiple work centers.
• Managing a multi‑site team of IT professionals delivering infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, and help desk services.
• Coordinating and tracking IT project lifecycles using PMI methodologies, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Conducting cost analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Ensuring compliance with DoD IM/IT governance models and cybersecurity policies.
• Collaborating with organizational leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.
• Evaluating and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Managing vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Ten (10) or more years of experience managing DoD and IT related O&M support with an IT support staff and familiarity with DoD IM/IT governance models.
• Education: BA/BS in information technology or related discipline.
• Certification: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL V3, CASP+, CCNP.
• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or cloud‑specific (AWS, Azure).
• Experience supporting DoD contracts or working in defense‑related environments.

Work Environment:

• May require occasional travel between work centers or to client sites.
• Some after‑hours or on‑call support may be necessary.
• Must comply with all DoD and organizational security policies and training.
• On‑site work in a secure government or contractor facility.
• Must be able to work in a high‑security environment and comply with all relevant security protocols.
