Key Responsibilities

The Role

  • Installation, repair and service of equipment (filters, pumps, controllers, pre-treatment equipment), carried out in accordance with the service plan prepared and approved by the Manager
  • Electric and hydraulic installations
  • Carrying out water treatment service, at the customer's site
  • Performing cleaning of installations: closed loops, reverse osmosis, cooling towers,
  • Checking inventory and supplementary orders for chemicals, spare parts and consumables,
  • Keep van and any other tools / assets clean and in working order ready for performing any interventions in the field.
  • Organize services and daily routing in the most effective way possible and in accordance with instructions from the Manager, considering ad hoc repair requirements, and using the implemented route-planning system.
  • Making sure that all services and interventions in the field are pre-approved by the Manager.
  • Accurately complete service reports according to local work instructions and codes of practice, and use the implemented company systems
  • Report any major incidents, quality issues, customer feedback and other relevant information from the field to the Manager according to the company regulations.
  • Promote and maintain good relations with customers, ensuring confidentiality, maintaining standards and promoting the good image of the Company.
  • Promote and identify sales opportunities through to the Manager and effectively liaise with the Sales team to ensure the highest levels of customer service are supplied to the customer.
  • Comply with quality standards and any applicable industry standards.
  • Use NCH Learning or any other Company LMS as required.
  • Ensure adherence to NCH Europe's health and safety standards, to protect the wellbeing of all NCH Europe Agents and Employees.
  • Ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Independent working style as well as able to work as a team member
  • Accuracy, reliability and attention to detail
  • Be customer orientated with Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Flexibility, able to adjust to changing schedules
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to use power tools, ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. • Previous customer service experience desirable.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of planning and prioritizing skills, to enable multiple demands to be managed effectively
  • Mechanical and electrical understanding preferable.
  • Certified Technician / Electrician desirable but not essential
  • Valid UK driving license
