Position Details

- Compensation: ÂŁ35,000 - ÂŁ45,000 / year
Key Responsibilities
- Be aware of the annual targets regarding sales revenue, number of new customers, renewal contract rate and all other KPIs assigned by direct line manager.
- Selfâgenerate sales leads via a variety of means including networking, referrals, warm and cold calling and develop a robust pipeline throughout the sales region.
- Identify and progress sales opportunities for new customers either from oneâoff sales or new contracts.
- Follow NCH Sales Process called âGears of Selling,â ensuring intimate knowledge and use of the process and present NCH Europe as a credible and professional supplier of products / services.
- Work with the customer to optimize systems efficiencies through innovation.
- Complete and manage customer orders using relevant company technology and in accordance with company policies, procedures and trading standards.
- Account management â maintain relationship with customer postâsale to ensure satisfaction and obtain referrals, ensuring confidentiality and promoting a good image of the Company.
- Work closely with Technical staff and development team to meet customer needs.
- Ensure oneâtime in full firstâclass customer service.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the companyâs sales management system (CRM).
- Perform service activities according to the business needs and contract terms.
- Ensure adherence to NCH Europeâs health and safety standards, to protect the wellbeing of all NCH Europe Agents and Employees.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Recent experience within a customer contact environment and sales and technical background.
- Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is desirable.
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with a B2B sales and contract business culture is advantageous (new business essential, industrial preferable).
- Experience in interacting/communicating with people (face to face, on the phone) and influencing them; experience in a customerâfacing environment preferred.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of planning and prioritising skills, to enable multiple demands to be managed effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, tablets and âappsâ; customer relationship management software and sales order management systems/documents is optional.
- Valid UK driving licence.
